Course overview
This lecture gives you the first part of the introduction to the basic knowledge of lambing and, thus, good preparation for the lambing period. In the lecture, fetal development is reviewed, and the influence of feeding on the prevention of lambing problems.
The lambing itself and the preparations you should make before, and what you need to do during and after lambing are described.
Guidelines for problem-solving during lambing and assistance for weak lambs are reviewed so that you can be well-prepared for the lambing period.
